Publisher Information

Sustainable Science Letters is published by RPMT (RP Memorial Trust), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing scholarly communication in sustainable development and environmental science. Based in Dehradun, India, RPMT works to ensure that critical research in sustainability reaches a global audience through open access publication models.

Established in 2023, RPMT is committed to ethical publishing practices and follows international standards for scholarly publishing, including those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal Start Date

Sustainable Science Letters was established in January 2025, with the inaugural issue published in December 2025. The journal publishes articles on a continuous basis (as soon as they are ready) and compiles them into quarterly issues.

Open Access Policy

Sustainable Science Letters is committed to making research freely accessible to all. We operate under a full open access model, where all articles are immediately available upon publication without subscription barriers. This ensures that research findings are disseminated widely and can have the greatest possible impact.

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license, allowing users to share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.

To support our open access model while ensuring quality and sustainability, the journal normally charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. However, APCs are waived until June 2026 to encourage submissions during the launch phase of the journal.

Scientific Integrity & Ethical Standards

Sustainable Science Letters is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity. The journal follows the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to best practices in academic publishing.

We require all authors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and to ensure that their research adheres to ethical standards, including obtaining appropriate approvals for research involving human participants or animals.

All submissions undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the field to ensure quality, originality, and relevance. The journal employs a single-blind peer review process to minimize bias while maintaining the integrity of the review process.
